Managing Your Parking Spots

For owners

This section provides an idea of the life of a parking spot in findacarpark.com.

When you first add a new property to the database, and assuming all the details were correctly entered, the new property will show up on the Overview page after you have Logged into your account. The status of this property will be displayed as 'Not Listed'.  This means that customers searching on the findacarpark website will not be able to find it while performing a property search. The benefit of this is so that you can prepare your parking spot first with all the details, and only list it when you are 100% happy with all the details.

When you would like to fully List this property for customers to see it, you need to click on the List This Property link shown underneath the 'Not Listed' text. As soon as you do this, the status of your spot changes to 'Listed' and it is ready to go.

The other status that your parking spot will display is 'Rented'. This is when some customer has decided to rent the property from you after having agreed to the terms of the rental. You can find out more about this under the 'What is the Rental Process' help item. When a parking spot is Rented, it is not possible to modify any of the details belonging to it. When you click on the address to edit the details, you will be prompted with a form to cancel the contract. Be very careful with this. To find out more, click on the 'Cancelling Contracts' help menu item.
