Q: How do you feel about the parking situation around Wollongong Hospital?

Alisha McLean, Thirroul

It is shocking, it always takes me two hours to find a park, I've got a friend waiting in the car in the car park at the moment so we don't get booked.

Angela Taylor, Balgownie

It is very difficult parking around here, you have to leave home early to find a park and then you have to walk to work.

Janice Brown, Balgownie

It is so bad for the people who work here. It is only two-hour parking so everyone runs the risk of getting caught.

Justine Vreman, Corrimal

It is worse on a wet day and when I come to visit my parents who live around the corner, I can't even get a park outside their place.

Steve Bond, Thirroul

There is no parking, it is really limited.

Liam Daly, Port Kembla

I work in the hospital and when you have to park away and walk to work then there is a need for extra parking. It's worse for older patients.

Ariya Ratna, Berkeley

It is bad but I work shift work so I always get here before eight. It's not usually a problem for me.

Norm Jones, Wollongong

It's bad, but you should see the parking at St George Hospital in Sydney. There are a lot of old people who can't afford to pay $7 a day.

Kim Auld, Albion Park

It's not an easy walk being pregnant. Often we have to wait more than two hours for our appointment and there is only two-hour parking available.

Gavin Auld, Albion Park

To me, it is a shambles.

Stephen Byrnes, Warrawong

There definitely needs to be more parking. If you get here before 9am you're right but 9.10am and you are in trouble.

Melinda O'Shannessy, Cordeaux Heights

The parking has never been good, there is not enough staff parking, but I guess there is really no space for it.
